The Boat

The Mighty Fine

A 50-foot custom sportfisherman with classic Destin lines — built in 1986, fully restored in 2021, and set up to do one thing exceptionally well: put big groups on big fish in real comfort.

Old bones, new heart

Restored stem to stern in 2021

They don't build them like this anymore — which is exactly why this one was rebuilt instead of retired. Her refit brought a brand-new pair of Cummins QSL9 diesels, a new Phasor generator, a new Bosch air conditioner in the cabin, and an engine room clean enough to show off. She cruises at up to 21 knots, and her deep sportfisherman hull shrugs off Gulf chop that keeps smaller boats at the dock.

She's Coast Guard approved for 20 passengers — one of the boats in Destin that lets a whole reunion, wedding party, or company crew fish together instead of splitting up.

Comfort below, business on deck

Built for the whole crew

Inside the air-conditioned cabin: long white bench seating, big windows, and rod storage overhead

The cabin

Air-conditioned and genuinely cool — not "boat cool." Bench seating for the ride out and back, a microwave and electric grill, and bunks below when a kid (or a grown-up) needs a nap.

The wide-open white cockpit deck with centered live well, big fish box, and walk-around room

The deck

A big open cockpit with seating that doesn't fight the fishing. Live bait well, dedicated cooler space for your drinks, and a large iced fish box that keeps the day's catch cold to the dock.

The cabin entry and steps down from the deck, with the ladder up to the bridge

The bathroom

A real, roomy, clean marine head. If you've fished on a six-pack boat with a bucket and a curtain, you know why this line item gets its own card. Moms planning family trips: this one's for you.

Plenty of rail, plenty of room

Room for everybody

Twenty passengers, a wide-open stern, and two deckhands keeping lines wet — nobody waits their turn for long on this deck.
